missileannie is an indie band compromised of college professors. Just as professors compile lecture notes into miscellanies, so the group arranges its music. The client wanted a cute-yet-tough, innocent-yet-spunky schoolgirl character. Logo fun fact: the ‘l’ is the missile is the tie.

Poster advertisement for on-campus discussion group regarding the Emerging Church. Emergents tend to boast a lexicon of grandiloquent malapropisms, which the poster conveys infinitesimally.
Mock ad campaign for Mrs. Field’s targeted at middle schoolers emphasizing customizable cookie cakes. Students could then go online and upload an image and use it as a skeleton to design their own cake. In this way, the cake becomes them.

Team-based Flash project showcasing worldwide locations of significant Communication Arts alumni. As designer, I wanted a strong Mercurian vector image, so I pieced Google Maps screenshots together in Photoshop and spent the next two weeks tracing in Illustrator.
The poster series accentuates the current DMS logo (bottom right) while creating a title that is only strongly visible from afar. The secondary information remains strong, while the tertiary competition categories have the lightest weight, as only applicants will be interested.
